Management Team

Pat Alibrandi - Founder and Chairman of the Board, created Interstate Electrical Services Corporation in 1966. Since then the company has grown to become one of the largest merit shop electrical contractors in New England. Interstate has also been named as one of the Nation’s top 400 Electrical Contracting firms. Pat was a founding member of the New England Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors. As an ABC member, he became actively involved on a local and national level legislative and political affairs. He served a two term position as Chairman of ABC National.

James P. Alibrandi – President
, has been with Interstate since 1976. He holds a degree in engineering from the University of Hartford and is a past Chairman of the local chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and is currently serving on the board of directors of ABC national. Under Jim’s leadership Interstate has grown to become the largest merit shop electrical services company in New England with full service offices in 5 states across the region. Carl Brand - Executive Vice President, brings well over 30 years of successful business experience to his position at Interstate. Carl’s proven track record in business management, process improvement and supply chain management is instrumental in positioning Interstate for continued growth and financial success. Brian Lewis - Vice President of MA, RI, CT Construction, has over 30 years of electrical contracting experience having started as a field electrician and worked his way up to corporate level positions successfully delivering projects in excess of $30M in size. Brian’s focus on project safety, productivity, and system implementation, has enabled him to consistently achieve outstanding results for both his company and his customers.

Brian oversee's all aspects of the construction business for Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. He directly supervises the project managers and their support staff as well the team of electricians and apprentices. His down to earth management style and focus on accountability and providing the tools and knowledge needed to succeed drives the MA Construction group to consistently deliver outstanding results both for Interstate and the customers they serve. John M. Sloane - Vice President of MA, RI, CT Services, joined Interstate in 1980 as a field project superintendent. For the past 16 years John has been the driving force behind Interstate’s successful Central and Southern New England Service Division, and is a major contributor to the company’s continued success. John has successfully grown the Service organization to include field operations in Rhode Island and Connecticut by remaining focused on customer satisfaction as a singular goal – no matter the size or scope of the project. John holds multiple state electrical licenses including master electrician for Massachusetts and Rhode Island and journeyman license for Connecticut. In addition he holds fire alarm licenses for the City of Boston and Newton, MA.

Christopher Dykeman - Division Manager, RI Construction, has over 30 years of electrical construction and project management experience and holds Journeyman Electrician and Master Electrician licenses in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Chris joined Interstate in 2011 as a project manager working for MA Construction out of the Rhode Island office. His project management skills, focus on worksite safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, are valuable assets that will enable the RI Construction group to continue to deliver outstanding value for customers and strengthen Interstate’s reputation for quality in the RI Construction market. Gary Sobolewski - Regional Vice President of NH, VT, ME , joined Interstate as a project estimator in 1991 and has been driving the successful design build effort for the Northern Construction Division in an executive role since 1999. Under Gary’s leadership the Northern Construction Division has been able to deliver a variety of challenging design build projects to the clients’ complete satisfaction. Gary is also responsible for sales and marketing for the Northern Construction Division. Jamie Boilard - Vice President of NH, VT, and ME Services, has been with Interstate since 1981 and heads up the Company’s Northern Service Division. His willingness to embrace new technologies combined with a singular focus on customer satisfaction has earned him a solid reputation among businesses in Northern New England. Previously a facilities manager for a manufacturing plant, he is acutely aware of how downtime affects his customer’s bottom line. Peter T Cicolini - Construction Division Manager NH, ME, VT, Construction, a Master Electrician (NH, MA, ME), Peter joined Interstate as an apprentice in 1983 with the Massachusetts Construction group. He was promoted to field superintendent in1986 then transferred to the New Hampshire Construction Division in 1989 where he earned the position of General Superintendent. In 1994 he was promoted to Senior Project Manager tasked with managing multimillion dollar projects. Peter’s knowledge and team building skills resulted in numerous award winning projects including one that was recognized nationally for Excellence in Construction. Peter is a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, National Fire Protection Association and has been appointed by the New Hampshire Governor’s office to the Building Safety & Construction Electrical Safety and Licensing Board. Robert Parker - Vice President of MA, RI, CT Engineering & Estimating, began his career at Interstate in 1978 as a Field Job Superintendent/Electrician over thirty years ago and has guided the design build efforts at Interstate since 1984.During that time his focus on customer satisfaction combined with technical expertise and attention to detail positioned Interstate as a leader in the electrical design build market. Bob has also been instrumental in adopting and perfecting Interstate’s approach to Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D job coordination. Edward Zinck - Human Resource Manger/Corporate Safety Officer, joined Interstate in 1984 after a decade in health care and real estate. Ed graduated from Northeastern University with a BS degree in Business Administration, is a former Chairman and Trustee of the North Shore Health Planning Council, and a certified OSHA Outreach Trainer. Michael D. Gould - Director of Corporate Sales & Strategic Growth, has been with Interstate since 1993 and holds a degree in engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is responsible for corporate-wide marketing and business development. Michael’s sales and electrical estimating background allows him to be a valuable resource to general contractors, and helps position Interstate as the vendor of choice.

Richard J. Driscoll – Director of Estimating Services, began his career with Interstate in 1987 as a co-op. He worked as an apprentice and received his journeyman electrical license. In 1992 he joined the MA Construction estimating team and took leadership of the group in 2001.Interstate’s estimating department is known for delivering project estimates that are detailed and complete – an attribute that is sought after by general contractors.
