Onsite_Job_Specific _TrainingFor many project managers and facilities engineers, our safety record is one of the reasons that Interstate is the only choice for new projects or ongoing maintenance. Interstate continues to be committed to fostering a working culture built around job safety.

Interstate's safety committee works to insure that our programs stay current with changing trends and regulations. In addition to mandatory annual CPR training and bi-annual first aid training our program includes:

Annual_CPR-Certification_at_Interstate_Headquarters

  • A published safety manual that is available to all field employees
  • A comprehensive safety orientation and training program for new field employees.
  • Advanced safety training for Site Superintendents
  • On site, weekly safety meetings and updates
  • Ongoing, company sponsored safety training including OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 hour courses, safety seminars, CPR certification and basic first aid
  • Job specific safety training covering a wide range of topics such as confined space entry, fall protection, lock out/tag out.
  • NFPA 70E guidelines for working on energized systems and NFPA 70E certified classroom and hands-on training
