Interstate Wins Excellence In Construction Award for Weston Corporate Center Project

Interstate Electrical Services Corporation, New England's premier provider of electrical construction, electrical services, network systems, control systems, design build service, and building information modeling (BIM) has received a first place Eagle Award for Excellence in Construction from the Massachusetts chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors for the Weston Corporate Center Project, in Weston Massachusetts.

The Weston Corporate Center was a core/shell project that converted an old industrial site and quarry into a 450,000 square foot, state of the art, LEED Gold Certified office. The aggressive schedule included 3D coordination of the MEP trades, with a significant electrical component. The judges commented, “Interstate’s excellent clash detection work prevented serious problems from hampering this project.”
